Village Toy Shop is owned and operated by
Janet Louise, a former nanny, who loves kids and understands the value of good toys. The toyshop opened in November 2004 in the
Keaau Village Market and moved to it's current location on Waianuenue Ave in June 2006.
It's a 'kid friendly store' where playing is encouraged, so bring your little ones in for a little 'product research' and we'll find just the right toy for them to take home. The toys at Village Toy Shop are chosen for their 'high play value' in that they are interactive, open-ended and encourage creativity. Good toys allow the child to direct the play rather then the toy directing the child's play which is often the case when toys are battery operated or based on TV shows and movies. You'll also find the classic toys that you loved when you were a child. A visit to Village Toy Shop is a FUN treat children enjoy and remember.
Our mission is to get quality toys into the hands of our young people, to be a successful business and a resource for families, teachers and schools for many, many years to come.
